NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC GD (General Duty) admit card on its official website, ssc.gov.in. Candidates, who will be appearing for the exam, can now download the admit card by using their login credentials such as registration number and password through the application download portal.
The commission will be conducting the GD exam in multiple shifts from February 4 to 25, 2025. A total of 39,481 vacancies will be filled through the recruitment process, the official notice reads.
The SSC GD exam pattern includes 80 objective-type questions, each holding two marks and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The authority will hold a computer-based test to recruit candidates for Constable (GD) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau. The exam will be conducted in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages.

To download the SSC GD admit card 2025, candidates can follow the steps given below.
- Go to the official website, ssc.gov.in.
- Look for the login link and click on it.
- Type your login credentials and submit.
- Download the admit card.
- Check the details, download it and make a printout for exam day.
SSC GD Examination: Test day rules
The commission has issued several rules for the candidates to follow on the SSC GD exam day.
- Candidates should not forget to bring their SSC GD admit card 2025 to the exam centre.
- Bring a valid ID proof.
- Do not carry any electronic devices into the examination hall.
- Do not bring any rough paper, pen, pencil, or notebook inside the test hall.
- Please follow the instructions written on the SSC GD admit card 2025.
- Do not immediately leave the exam hall after the test. Kindly wait for the invigilator’s instructions.
