NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release the General Duty (GD) 2021 notification and application form anytime soon. The SSC GD Constable 2021 notification and application form was earlier scheduled to be released on March 25, 2021, however, has now been delayed. SSC GD exam is conducted to recruit candidates for the post of Constable in Border Security Force (BSF), National Investigation Agency (NIA), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles etc under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

SSC GD Constable Eligibility Criteria 2021
The eligibility criteria of SSC GD consists of nationality, age limit and educational qualification. Indian nationals between the age group of 18 years to 23 years who have qualified Class 10/ matriculation from a recognised board can apply for SSC GD Constable 2021.
SSC GD Constable 2021: Stages
There are four stages in the SSC GD exam. The stages are mentioned below -

Computer-based examination (CBE)

Physical efficiency test (PET)

Physical standard test (PST)
-
Detailed medical examination (DME)
Candidates who qualify in each stage will be recruited as per the vacancies. The starting in-hand salary of SSC GD constable is approximately Rs 23,527.
