NEW DELHI, JULY 11: Staff Selection Commission has announced the date of SSC GD Constable 2018 physical test in their latest notice on the official website - ssc.nic.in . SSC GD Constable Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test (PET/ PST) is expected to be conducted from August 1 onwards. Candidates who have qualified the computer based test of SSC GD Constable will be appearing for the physical examination. The admit card of SSC GD Constable PET/ PST will be released by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). It is expected to be released in the last week of July.
The notice also mentions that the candidates will be able to raise objections on their result data of the computer based examination until July 31. As per the notice, candidates will not be able to raise any objections on their result data after the date mentioned. Candidates who wish to raise objections will be required to produce a printout of the online application and examination score to the commission.
Male candidates will be required to run 5 kilometres in 24 minutes while female candidates will have to run 1.6 kilometers in 8.5 minutes for PET or Physical Efficiency Test. For Physical Standards Test, height and chest measurements will be done. The specified height for male candidates is at least 170 centimetres and the same for female candidates is 157 centimetres.
Earlier the result of SSC GD Constable computer based test was declared on June 20, scorecard on July 5 and final answer key on July 10. SSC GD Constable is conducted for the recruitment of candidates for the post of Constable (General Duty) in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), National Investigation Agency (NIA), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Border Security Force (BSF), Rifleman in Assam Rifles, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
