SSC GD Constable Result 2018 for CBE Delayed; Now to be Announced on June 21

NEW DELHI, MAY 20: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has extended the result date of SSC GD Constable 2018 for Computer-based examination (CBE). As per SSC latest notice, SSC GD Constable 2018 result for CBE will be announced on June 21, 2019 in online mode. Earlier, the result was to be announced on May 31, 2019.
To check SSC GD Constable result , candidates will have to enter username and password in the login window. The result will display the qualifying status of the candidates. Along with the declaration of the result, the commission may also release the cutoff. The cutoff will be available category wise separately for male and female candidates.
SSC will also release the scorecard of SSC GD Constable CBE after the announcement of the result. With the help of scorecard, candidates will be able to check the marks secured by them in the CBE. The CBE of SSC GD Constable was held from February 11 to March 11, 2019.
A total of 30,41,284 candidates have appeared for the exam which was held in 54 shifts across 125 cities in India. Candidates who will qualify the exam will be eligibile to appear for Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST). The total number of vacancies announced for SSC GD Constable 2018 recruitment is 58,373.
SSC GD Constable is conducted for the recruitment of candidates to the post of Constable (General Duty) in CISF, BSF, NIA, SSB, CRPF, SSF and ITBP.
