SSC GD Constable Result 2018 for CBT to be Out on June 21; Check @ssc.nic.in

NEW DELHI, MAY 31: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is to announce the result of SSC GD Constable 2018 on June 21, 2019. The SSC GD Constable result will be declared for the Computer Based Test which was held from February 11 to March 11, 2019. To check the result of SSC GD Constable, candidates will have to visit the official website of the examination authority - ssc.nic.in, click on the result link of SSC GD Constable and enter the login credentials. However, the authority may also announce the result in PDF format wherein the candidates will be able to find the roll numbers of those who will qualify.

Candidates as many as 10 times the number of total vacancies will be shortlisted for the next round. Candidates who will qualify in the exam will further have to appear for the Physical Standards Test (PST)/Physical Efficiency Test which is expected to be held by the end of June 2019.

The authority will also release the scorecard of SSC GD Constable few days after the declaration of the SSC GD Constable result. The scorecard will contain the total marks scored by the candidates in CBT which was conducted for a total of 100 marks.

SSC GD constable exam is conducted to recruit male and female General Duty Constables in BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, NIA, SSF and Rifleman in Assam Rifles. The test is conducted in three stages - Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination. For SSC GD Constable 2018 recruitment, the authority has announced a total of 58373 vacancies out of which 50066 vacancies are for male while 8307 are for female.
