SSC JE 2018 Vacancies Announced for 1601 Posts; Check Details here

NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 16: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released 1601 vacancies for Junior Engineer (JE) 2018. Out of total 1601 vacancies, 809 posts are available for Unreserved categories, 423 for OBC, 129 for ST and 240 for SC. SSC JE 2018 notification was announced on February 1, 2019.

Candidates can fill the application form of SSC JE from February 1 to February 25, 2019. To fill the application form candidates have to register with the basic details in part I of the application form. In part II, candidates have to upload the scanned photograph (4 Kb to 20 Kb) and signature (1 Kb to 12 Kb), select the mode of payment and pay the requisite fee.

General and OBC candidates have to pay Rs.100 for the application fee whereas Women and SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen are exempted from fee payment. Candidates can pay the online application fee till February 27, 2019 (5 pm) through Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card. However, the bank challan can be generated till February 27 (5 pm) and payment can be done till February 28, 2019.

Candidates who have a degree or diploma in engineering in the respective stream and are upto 32 years of age (as on August 1, 2019) can apply for SSC JE 2018. The Computer-based examination (Paper I) of SSC JE will be held from September 23-27, 2019. Only those candidates who will successfully fill the application form will be issued admit card for the paper I exam.

SSC conducts JE exam for recruitment of Junior Engineers (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) for various Departments/Organizations in the Government of India.
