NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 1: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification of Junior Engineers (JE) on February 1, 2019. Candidates can fill the application form from February 1 to 25, 2019. To be eligible to appear for SSC JE 2019, candidates must have a degree or diploma in engineering in the respective stream as per the requirement of the post. The upper age limit of the candidate for applying is 32 years. However, there is age relaxation for reserved category candidates.

In order to fill the application form, candidates have to visit the official website of SSC - The application form of SSC JE has 2 parts -part I and II. In part I, candidates have to register with the basic details whereas, in part II, candidates have to upload the scanned photograph (4 Kb to 20 Kb) and signature (1 Kb to 12 Kb), select the mode of payment and pay the requisite fee.

SSC JE application fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs.100 whereas SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen and Women of all categories are exempted from fee payment. The application fee can be paid online through Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card and offline through bank challan. The payment of application fee in online mode and generation of offline challan can be done till February 27(5pm) while the offline payment through challan can be done till February 28, 2019.

After the successful submission of SSC JE 2019 application form, candidates must keep a printout of application form for further reference. Admit card for paper 1 of SSC JE will be issued to only those candidates whose application form has been accepted by SSC. SSC JE is conducted for the recruitment of Junior Engineers Group-B (Non-Gazetted) posts. The paper I  exam will be conducted from September 23 to 27 while paper II is scheduled to be conducted on December 29, 2019.
