NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) expected to begin the Junior Engineers - Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying and Contract registration soon. The SSC JE 2024 exam is scheduled to be held from June 4 to 6. Although the SSC JE notification and vacancy was scheduled to be announced on February 29, there is no update yet.
As per the SSC exam calendar, the SSC JE application form closes on March 29. However, the registration link has not been made available yet. Candidates will have to clear paper 1 to be shortlisted for paper 2. Selected candidates who obtain a minimum passing marks in paper 2 will be called for document verification. The final merit list will be prepared based on the aggregate marks secured in both paper 1 and 2.
The test will assess candidates’ knowledge in general intelligence reasoning, general awareness, general engineering which will have three parts - Part A on civil and structural engineering, part B on electrical, or part C on mechanical engineering.
