Subscribe NowNEW DELHI : The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has commenced the facility to submit option-cum-preference for posts and organisations for Junior Engineer (JE) exam 2024. Candidates who appeared for SSC JE 2024 paper 2 can submit their preferences through the official website, ssc.gov.in before December 13, 2024.
“All candidates, who have appeared in Paper-ll, are advised to submit their option-cum-Preference for Post(s)/Organization(s) for Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Examination, 2024 through their respective 'CANDIDATE LOGIN' on the website of SSC (Headquarters) i.e. https://ssc.nic.in wherein facility for submission of option-cum-preference for post(s)/organization(s) will be available under my application tab, which will remain active during the period from 9.12.2024 (5 pm) to 13.12.2024 (11:50 pm),” said SSC in an official notification.
The commission informed that the option-cum-preferences last submitted by the candidates will be treated as final. Those candidates who fail to submit their option-cum-preferences will not be considered in the final merit list, it added.

SSC asked Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates to ensure that they submit preferences for only those posts which are suitable for their disabilities. The candidature of candidates will be cancelled if they get selected for a post which is not identified as suitable for them.
“It is reiterated that the candidates will not be provided any further opportunity for the exercise of option-cum-preference beyond the dates mentioned above. Any grievance received in this regard in any form like post, fax, email, by hand, etc. shall not be entertained by the commission and will be summarily rejected,” SSC further stated.
