The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the SSC junior engineer (JE), sub-inspector in Delhi Police and central armed police forces, and combined higher secondary (10+2) level (CHSL) 2026-27 computer-based exam dates (CBE).

SSC JE 2026 paper 1 will be conducted in CBE mode from November 2 to 6. The SI in Delhi Police and central armed police forces is scheduled in CBE mode from November 20 to 28.

The SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam 2026 will also be conducted in CBE mode from November 30 to December 31.

Candidates must also note that the exam dates mentioned in the notice are proposed and can be changed by the exam-conducting body. The commission has advised candidates to visit the SSC official website for regular updates.

SSC CPO 2026 notification

Furthermore, SSC has issued a notification for 1,871 Delhi Police, CAPF SI posts. Candidates can edit the application form for SSC CPO vacancies offered from October 8 to October 10. However, the date for the SSC CPO computer-based examination will be announced later.

According to the SSC CPO notification, the post of sub-inspector (GD) in CAPFs carries a salary in pay level 6, with a pay scale of Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400. The post is classified as group B, non-gazetted and non-ministerial.

The sub-inspector (executive) in Delhi Police also carries a level 6 pay scale of Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400 and is classified as a Group C post. The sub-inspector (Fire) in CISF carries the same level 6 pay scale of Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400 and is classified as Group B, non-gazetted and non-ministerial.
