Subscribe NowThe Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the exam date for the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) exam, 2025 (Paper-I) and Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2025 (Paper-I). As per the announcement, the SSC JE 2025 paper 1 exam will be held from December 3 to December 6.
The SSC Delhi Police 2025 exam will be conducted from December 9 to December 12. The SSC recruitment drive seeks to fill 1,731 Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) positions and 5,308 Sub-Inspector posts in the Delhi Police and the CAPF.
Recently, the SSC issued a notice regarding the self-slot selection facility for candidates appearing in the SSC JE Examination 2025 and the Delhi Police and CAPF Sub-Inspector Examination 2025. The facility allows candidates to choose their preferred exam city and date through the official SSC portal at ssc.gov.in.
SSC JE, Delhi Police slot selection window
As per the earlier notice, for the JE exam, the slot selection window will be open from today, November 10 to November 13, while Sub-Inspector candidates can select slots between November 17 and November 21, 2025.
The Commission has clarified that once a slot is chosen, it will be final and cannot be changed. Candidates who do not select a slot within the given period will be automatically assigned one based on their application details or availability.
The Commission has also recently released SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) admit cards 2025 for 3,131 Group C vacancies. The SSC CHSL 2025 exam is scheduled to be held from November 12. Eligible candidates can download their SSC CHSL admit cards 2025 from the official SSC portal, ssc.gov.in, using their registration number and password.
