Subscribe NowNEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the registration window for the recruitment of various Junior Engineer (JE) vacancies 2024 today, April 18. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility prerequisites can fill out the SSC JE application form 2024 by visiting the official website, ssc.gov.in.
The objective of the SSC recruitment drive is to fill 968 positions for Junior Engineers across civil, mechanical, and electrical domains. Of total, 338 positions are designated for the Central Public Works Department and 475 for the Border Road Organisation.
Candidates will have to pay the SSC JE application fee 2024 to successfully register for the exam. Candidates will be able to pay the SSC JE application fee till April 18. The SSC JE exam 2024 will be conducted from June 4 to 6 at multiple test centres across the country.
SSC JE 2024: Paper 1 pattern
Candidates appearing for SSC JE paper 1 can check the exam pattern in the table given below-

Candidates will be awarded one mark is awarded for each correct answer in the paper. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer. While no marks will be deducted for questions left unanswered.
SSC JE application 2024 correction window
After the registration deadline, the commission will initiate the SSC JE application correction window on April 22. Those who have completed their exam registration will have the opportunity to modify their application details through this facility. The deadline for editing the SSC JE application form is April 24, 2024. Candidates will need to access the correction portal using their login credentials, including their registration number and date of birth.
