SSC JE registration, notification 2019 to be available on January 28

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 24, 2019: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the registration and notification date for SSC JE examination 2019. SSC JE application form 2019 will be available from January 28 to February 25. The detailed notification about the exam will also be available alongside the application form on January 28.

According to SSC officials, “Staff Selection Commission is going to conduct the Junior Engineers (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Quantity Surveying and Contract) Examination in the computer based mode. Interested candidates may apply online on the website of the Commission w.e.f January 28 till February 25 (5 pm).”

Apart from the notification and registration details of SSC JE exam 2019, the authority has not announced any other detail or date with respect to any other event associated with the exam.

Candidates between 18 to 32 years with engineering diploma/degree are eligible to apply for SSC JE 2019 exam. It must be noted that SSC has made Aadhaar Card mandatory for filling the SSC JE application form, so candidates must carry their Aadhaar Card/Number with them while filling the application. However, candidates who do not have Aadhaar Card, can fill the application form using their photo ID numbers of Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, School/ College ID and Employer ID (Govt./ PSU/ Private). Scanned image of left thumb impression can also be uploaded in place of ID numbers.

SSC JE application has two parts. While in Part I, candidates have to register with various details, in part II, they have to pay the exam fee and upload scanned images of photograph and signature. The application fee is Rs 100 and can be paid through SBI Challan/Net banking/Credit/Debit Card.

The exam is held for two papers – paper I and II. Candidates are shortlisted for the recruitment based on their performance in Paper I and II. Paper I is expected to be conducted in March 2019, while paper II may be held in July 2019.
