SSC JE result 2026 out; 15,607 shortlisted for paper 2

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the SSC Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical) 2026 paper 1 results and cutoffs. A total of 15,607 candidates have been shortlisted for SSC JE 2026 paper 2. Also, result of the two candidates have been withheld.

Out of the shortlisted candidates, 11,593 have been selected to appear for civil engineering, and 4014 for electrical and mechanical engineering.

SSC JE result 2026 can be downloaded from the official website at ssc.gov.in. The SSC JE 2026 exam was held in CBT mode across multiple shifts from December 3 to 6 and on Dec 13 at various centres across the country.

The minimum qualifying marks for paper 1 are fixed as follows.

• 60 marks for UR (30%)
• 50 marks) for OBC/ EWS (25%)
• 40 marks for all other categories (20%)

SSC JE Final Answer Key 2026

According to the official SSC notice, representations submitted by candidates regarding the SSC JE 2026 provisional answer keys were carefully reviewed. Wherever necessary, the SSC JE 2026 answer keys were revised.

The final answer keys have been used to process the results of paper 1. The final answer keys, along with the question papers-cum-response sheets of paper 1 and the marks of both qualified and non-qualified candidates, will be uploaded on the commission’s website in due course.
