SSC MTS 2024 registration begins for 8,326 vacancies; last date to apply is July 31

SSC MTS Notification 2024: Eligible candidates can apply for the exam at ssc.nic.in.
NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC MTS notification 2024. As per the exam dates, the registration for 8,326 Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) has begun on the official website, ssc.nic.in. The last date to apply for SSC MTS 2024 is July 31. The exam will be conducted in October-November for 4,887 MTS and 3,439 Havaldar posts.

As per the eligibility criteria, candidates must have passed Class 10 or equivalent exam from a recognized board. In order to apply, applicants are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) categories are exempted from fee payment. The deadline to pay the fee is August 1.
The commission will open the application correction window for two days after the completion of the registration process. A correction charge of Rs 200 will be levied on all applicants for making changes for the first time.
SSC MTS 2024 age limit
The age limit for the SSC MTS and Havaldar has been fixed as August 1, 2024. Candidates who are 18-25 years old, born not before August 2, 1999 and not later than August 1, 2006 are eligible for MTS. Those who are 18-27 years old, not born before August 2, 1997 and not later than August 1, 2006 are eligible for Havaldar in CBIC and CBN, department of revenue and a few posts of MTS in various departments.
SSC MTS 2024 Registration: Documents required
Before proceeding for one-time registration (OTR), students must keep the following documents ready:
- Mobile Number (to be verified through OTP)
- Email ID (to be verified through OTP).
- Aadhaar Number. If Aadhaar Number is not available, provide any one of the following: voter ID card, PAN, passport, Driving License, school/college ID, employer ID (Govt./ PSU/ Private)
- Information about the board, roll number and year of passing Class 10 exam
- Disability certificate number, if you are a person with benchmark disability.
