SSC Selection Post Results 2025: Only about 67,000 candidates qualified across matriculation, higher secondary, and graduation-level posts.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the Phase 13 Selection Post results, with only 2.3% of the 29 lakh registered candidates shortlisted across matriculation, higher secondary, and graduation-level posts.
As per the SSC Selection Post results, a total of 29,39,401 (29 lakh) candidates applied for the recruitment exam, of which only around 67,500 candidates have been selected for the next stage of scrutiny.
The SSC Selection Post exam, which began in July, was postponed multiple times, with retests conducted after several shifts were cancelled due to technical and administrative issues. The disruptions triggered nationwide protests by candidates, who flagged discrepancies, technical glitches, and alleged mismanagement in the conduct of the exam.
For the SSC Selection Post matriculation level, the commission received 12,09,332 completed applications, of which 17,720 candidates – less than 1.5% – have been shortlisted. The computer-based test (CBT) was conducted between July 24 and August 2.
At the higher secondary (10+12) level, 7,08,219 candidates applied, but only 14,768 candidates qualified for the next stage – just over a 2% shortlisting rate.
For graduation and above-level posts, SSC received 10,21,850 applications, of which 35,055 candidates were shortlisted, the highest among the three levels, but still only 3.4% of the total applicants.
SSC said marks obtained by candidates in the Selection Posts exam have been normalised and the qualifying marks for unreserved categories have been fixed at 30%, OBC and EWS at 25%, and SC, ST, others at 20%. The SSC final answer key for Selection Posts exams will be uploaded shortly on the official website, ssc.gov.in, along with response sheets.
In a separate notification, the SSC clarified that the Technical Attendant (Cook) post under Directorate General NCC (Post Code MP10425) has been withdrawn at the request of the user department and will not be processed further.
“It is clarified that the withdrawal/cancellation of the said vacancy has been done at the request of the User Department (DG NCC). SSC has no role in the withdrawal of this vacancy,” it said.
