SSC Stenographer 2024 skill test on April 16, 17; over 35,000 candidates to appear

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the exam dates for the Stenographer 2024 skill test. Candidates who qualified the SSC Stenographer 2024 written test can appear for the skill test scheduled to be held on April 16, 17.

The commission announced the SSC Stenographer result 2024 for the written test on March 5. As per the SSC Stenographer result PDF, 9,345 candidates have qualified for the Grade ‘C’ skill test, while 26,610 candidates have qualified for the Grade ‘D’ skill test.
The SSC recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1,926 Stenographer Grade 'C' and Grade 'D' posts. Out of these, 1,687 posts are reserved for the Stenographer Grade 'D' posts and 239 for Stenographer Grade 'C' posts.
SSC Stenographer 2024: Skill test
The SSC Stenographer skill test will be qualifying, with standards set by the commission for each category. Candidates will get a 10-minute dictation at 100 words per minute (wpm) for Stenographer Grade 'C' and 80 wpm for Grade 'D' in English or Hindi.
