SSC Stenographer 2025 result declared for Group C, D; 31,080 qualify for skill test, cut-offs out

SSC Stenographer cut-offs for Group C, D announced. A total of 100 candidates have been debarred, 49 candidatures rejected, and 32 results withheld.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the SSC Stenographer 2025 results. Of more than 3.50 lakh registered candidates, 8,624 candidates have been provisionally qualified for appearing in the skill test for the grade C posts and 22,456 candidates have been shortlisted for grade D posts.

The SSC Stenographer exam was conducted on August 6, 7, 8 and 11 amid a mass protest by prospective candidates who flagged mismanagement, technical glitches, and out-of-syllabus questions.
Since the computer-based test (CBT) was held in multiple shifts, marks obtained by candidates have been normalised. The SSC recruitment exam was held for a total of 1,590 vacancies, of which 230 are earmarked for Group C and 1,360 for Group D vacancies.
The commission said that the SSC Stenographer results of 32 candidates have been withheld on account of various reasons, and the candidature of 49 applicants has been rejected. Additionally, 100 candidates have been debarred from the exam
“Representations received from the candidates with regard to the Answer Keys have been carefully examined and the Answer Keys have been modified wherever necessary before preparing final Answer Keys. The final Answer Keys have been used for evaluation,” it said.
The final answer key, marks of qualified candidates, schedule for skill test will be updated soon on the official website, ssc.gov.in.
