NEW DELHI:
Considering the hardships faced due to COVID-19, biology students are requesting Union HRD minister Ramesh Pokhariyal to open the application form for National Eligibility cum Eligibility Test (NEET). The education minister in a notice mentions that the National Testing Agency (NTA) has re-opened JEE Main application forms from May 19 to 24, 2020. Since, NTA is a common authority to conduct engineering and medical entrance exams, it is being expected to restart the registration for medical exams.
NEET is a single biggest gateway for admission to medical undergraduate courses. NTA will conduct NEET 2020 on July 26 and the application correction window is still open till May 31.

With the release of JEE applications, Biology students have flooded requests to the HRD Minister to open the application window of NEET for medical aspirants. However, no official confirmation has been made. In case of any notice, it will be available on the official website of ntaneet.nic.in.
