Study Abroad: Queen's University Belfast invites international students for Summer School 2024

NEW DELHI: Queen’s University Belfast has started the registration process for international students for the Queen's University 2024 Summer School. The three-week programme, which will be held from June 17 to July 5, will provide an opportunity to explore the historical, cultural, political, environmental, and socio-economic aspects of Northern Ireland.

Candidates can apply for the Queen's 2024 Summer School till March 22, 2024. Candidates can visit the irishcentral.com for more details. The participants will reside in the university's accommodation, which will be located 15-minute walk from Queen's main campus. The summer school programme will delve in conversations that shape the world, allowing students to engage with the rich history, diverse locations, and future visions of Belfast and its surroundings.

The first week of the course comprises core content and is taken by all students in the summer program. Students will explore the entwined social, political, and historical realities of the city of Belfast today, discovering multiple community perspectives in Northern Ireland. In addition to academic lectures and workshops delivered by world-leading experts from across Queen’s, students will have the opportunity to visit sites of cultural and historical significance in Belfast and Derry-Londonderry.

In week 2 and 3 of Summer School, participants will have the chance to tailor their summer school experience, choosing from a range of unique programmes like Storytelling, Irish studies, identity and intergroup relations in divided societies and leadership programmes.

The Summer Institute will be led by academic experts from a range of disciplines and institutes such as the Willian J Clinton Leadership Institute which brings world-class facilities, leading academics and industry experts together to deliver a high-end portfolio of executive education and leadership programmes.
