Summer vacation for Delhi University extended till July 31

NEW DELHI: Delhi University has extended its summer vacation till July 31, 2020, it announced on Wednesday.

This decision is in line with new “Unlock 2.0” guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday saying all educational institutions including schools, colleges and educational institutions to remain closed till the end of July.

Since the Unlock 2.0 guidelines came, Uttar Pradesh has announced they were shutting all institutions till July 31.

As per the Unlock 1.0 guidelines issued by the ministry, schools, colleges, and educational institutions will be opened after consultations with states and union territories.

The home ministry had also asked state governments and union territory administrations to hold with parents and other stakeholders.
