NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court has referred the Kerala Class 11 exam case to the High Court. The bench said that SC is focusing only on Class 12 exams of respective boards. The Kerala High Court can look into the matter, and “can decide the case on its own merits”.

The bench suggested students to file a writ in Kerala High Court. As per the Live Law tweet, the SC said, “In present proceeding we are focusing only on Class 12 exams of respective boards. Resultantly we don’t wish to entertain the grievances of class 11th Kerala exams. Students from Kerala of 11th standard are free to file writ petition before High Court.”

On June 22, the Kerala government told the apex court that the state will conduct the Class 11 exams scheduled to be conducted in September as the cancellation of the exam “will affect the future of the students”.

A bench comprising Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice Dinesh Maheshwari heard the Kerala 11th exam and AP inter exam 2021 plea today. A final decision on Andhra Pradesh 12th board exams is expected tomorrow.
