The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) January semester admit card 2026 on the official website of NTA SWAYAM at exams.nta.nic.in/swayam. To download the SWAYAM hall ticket, candidates need to enter the details, including application number and password.
The NTA SWAYAM January semester exam will be conducted on June 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21, 2026. The examinations will be held for a total of 900 courses across the country. For smooth conduct of the exams, around 200 SWAYAM exam centres have been allotted by the authorities.
The authority has already released the SWAYAM exam advance city intimation slip 2026 on the official website. After downloading the slip, candidates should verify their photograph and signature. In case either the photo or signature is missing, they are advised to download the slip again to ensure it is complete and valid.

The SWAYAM examination will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode, while some courses may follow a hybrid format combining CBT with pen-and-paper mode, depending on the subject. Each paper will be conducted for a duration of three hours. The question paper will primarily be set in English, except for language-specific programmes.

For most subjects, the exam is of 100 marks, though the structure differs across courses. In some cases, the paper will include 100 multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each, while in others, there will be 50 MCQs with two marks allotted per question. For select courses conducted in hybrid mode, the paper may include a combination of MCQs along with short-answer and long-answer type questions.
