Symbiosis School of Economics announces admission to UG, PG programmes

NEW DELHI : Symbiosis School of Economics has invited applications for admission to B.Sc and M.Sc programmes for academic session 2020-21. Candidates who wish to take admission in UG and PG programmes offered by the institute can fill and submit their applications before the last date of submission. The mode of application is only online. The last date of registration for B.Sc and M.Sc Economics programme is May 11 and May 9 respectively. The application fee for both UG and PG programmes is Rs 1,000. The results for B.Sc and M.Sc programmes will be announced on May 12 and June 11.

Eligibility Criteria
B.Sc. Economics
- Candidates must have passed the senior secondary examination from any branch with minimum 50% marks for the general category and 45% for students of SC and ST category.
- Qualifying the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) and group discussion and personal interview of the School.
M.Sc. Economics
- B.Tech and B.E. graduates may also apply. Graduates from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST) at graduation level.
- Students appearing for final year examinations can apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST) at qualifying examination.
Admission/Selection Process
B.Sc. Economics

It is mandatory to appear for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) for admission to SSE.

The applicant will receive a prospectus from Symbiosis International University.

The applicant is required to make a separate non-refundable payment of Rs 1,000.

If the applicant wants to pay programme payment through Demand Draft, make a DD of Rs.1000/- in the name of Symbiosis Test Secretariat.

Selection is done on the basis of SET score. Based on the SET score, the institute will conduct a Personal Interaction (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT) for the shortlisted students. The short-listed candidates will get a call for the PI-WAT.
