NEW DELHI, JANUARY 28 : Directorate of Government Educations, Tamil Nadu has released a circular stating the changes introduced in the pattern of the question paper for upcoming class 12th board exams. The duration of the exam has been reduced from 3 hours to 2.5 hours. So all the upcoming exams of class 12 class will be of 150 minutes for the regular students of 2018-19. Those students who will sit for their compartmental exams will find no change in the duration of the exam. Thus, they will get 3 hours to write the exam. Also, the maximum marks for each exam has been reduced to 100 from 200 marks earlier.
Tamilnadu 12th exams will begin from March 1, 2019, and will conclude on March 19, 2019. Students should prepare for the exam as per the new pattern. This new pattern may have a major effect on the results.
