Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2019 to be out today; know when and where to check TN 12th result

NEW DELHI, APRIL 19: Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu will release TN HSC result today at 9:30 am on the official website. Students can check their results using their registration number and date-of-birth. They can also check their results via SMS. This year, over 9 lakh students appeared for TN 12th examinations.

Here’s how you can check Tamil Nadu 12th Result -

• Visit the official website - dge.tn.gov.in
• Click on ‘HSC 2nd year March 2019 results’
• Enter the registration number and date of birth
• Click on ‘Get Marks’
• The result will be displayed on the screen
• Download and take its printout

TN 12th Results 2019 via SMS

To check the result via SMS, students need to enter their registration number and date of birth in the format of DD / MM / YYYY as shown below: “TNBOARD12<blank space>REGNO,DATE OF BIRTH” to 09282232585 or +919282232585.

In 2018, a total of 9,07,620 students appeared for Tamil Nadu 12th exam out of which, 4.03 lakh were male candidates and 4.63 lakh female candidates. Last year, the overall pass percentage was 91.1. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 94.1 as against 87.7 for boys. This year, the pass percentage is expected to show a rise.
