Only 2,355 out of 10,901 candidates, who were declared qualified under several categories, have been allotted seats in the Tamil Nadu NEET PG round 1 counselling. In round 1, a total of 1,221 candidates have been admitted in government quota, 1,015 in self-financing, and 119 in management quota seats. Admissions through Tamil Nadu NEET PG counselling 2025 will only be confirmed after candidates complete document verification before December 7.
“In view of revised Counselling schedule for Round I published by MCC on 25.11.2025, the last date of download for PG Degree / diploma & DNB courses is extended up to 3 PM on 07.12.2025 and last date of joining 5 PM on 07.12.2025,” the selection committee said.
To download the provisional allotment order, candidates are required to first pay the tuition fee online via debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI.
According to the Tamil Nadu NEET PG merit list, 6,989 candidates were eligible for government seats, 3,912 for management, and 570 under in-service category. However, after initial document verification, 921 candidates were found ineligible for the admission.
The selection committee has instructed candidates to produce their original certificates and scanned copies in person at the time of joining allotted college.
“If you do not report to the Head of the Institution to which you are allotted on or before the time and date specified, your selection and / or admission will be cancelled without any further notice,” it said.
