Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2024: Registration begins; application fee, documents required
TN NEET Counselling 2024: Eligible candidates can apply for admission to MBBS, BDS programmes by August 8.
NEW DELHI: The selection committee of the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Tamil Nadu has commenced the registration for National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG counselling 2024 for admission to MBBS, BDS programmes. Eligible aspirants can apply for TN NEET UG counselling 2024 on the official website, tnmedicalselection.net. The committee has also issued the prospectus for UG counselling 2024-25 for both government and management quota.
As per the counselling dates, the last date to fill the application form is August 8. In order to complete the registration, applicants will have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 500 for govt quota and Rs 1,000 for management quota.
The DME will conduct four rounds of TN NEET counselling – round 1, round 2, mop-up round, and stray round – comprising registration, fee payment, choice-filling, and seat allotment.
How to apply for TN NEET UG 2024 counselling?
- Go to the official website, tnmedicalselection.net
- Click on ‘UG courses’ tab and select ‘MBBS/BDS’
- Now, click on link to apply for MBBS/BDS course under government quota / management quota including NRI in Tamil Nadu medical/dental colleges 2024-2025 session
- Go to online application tab and select new registration
- Register yourselves and fill the application form
- Upload the required documents and pay the fee
- Submit the form and take a print out
Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2024: Documents required
Students will require the following documents at the time of registration:
- NEET UG 2024 admit card and score card.
- Class 10 marksheet (both sides of Certificate).
- Class 12 marksheet (both sides of Certificate).
- HSC marksheet (both sides) or any other equivalent examination.
- Transfer certificate obtained after the completion of HSC or equivalent courses.
- Certificate for proof of study from Class 6 to Class 12 for the candidates who have studied completely in Tamil Nadu.
- Community certificate
- Nativity certificate (if applicable).
- Community certificate of either one of the parents
- Bonafide certificate from Chief Educational Officer is mandatory to the candidates who have studied Class 6 to 12 in Tamil Nadu government Schools for 7.5% special reservation
- Income certificate of parent for the candidates claiming fee exemption.
- Eligibility certificate obtained from the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Guindy, Chennai for the candidates of other universities/boards (except Tamil Nadu board, CBSE board, ISCE board).
- Court orders (if any).
- Additional supporting documents (if any).
- Linguistic Minority Certificate (Telugu and Malayalam), Christian Minority Certificate for candidates claiming management quota minority status
- NRI status of the financial supporter issued by the Indian Embassy of the respective country under their seal or OCI card for candidates claiming management quota NRI status
- Certificate of relationship between the NRI financial supporter and the candidate, valid Indian passport of the NRI financial supporter.
- NRE (Non Resident External) bank account passbook of the financial supporter.
