TANCET 2020 to be conducted today; know exam day guidelines

NEW DELHI: Anna University, Chennai will be conducting the entrance examination of TANCET 2020 for M.E./M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan courses today i.e., March 1. The examination will commence from 10 AM as a pen and paper based test. Registered candidates will have to complete the examination within 2 hours as the examination will conclude at 12 noon. TANCET 2020 will be held in 15 cities of Tamil Nadu.

The entrance examination will consist of multiple choice questions which will be divided into three parts. Part I and II will be common sections and Part III will be based on the course selected by the candidates for admission. For every correct answer, the candidate will be allotted one mark and for every incorrect response, there will be a deduction of ⅓ marks.
Exam Day Guidelines of TANCET 2020

Candidates are advised to reach the examination centre early since there will be security checks and frisking.

While reporting to the centre, the candidates will have to carry their hall ticket of the examination along with a valid ID proof such as Aadhaar card, driving license, voter ID, PAN card or passport.

No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall half-an-hour after the start of the exam.

Before the completion of the exam, no candidate will be allowed to leave the hall.

Black ball point pen has to be used for writing and shading.

Calculators, log tables, communication devices will not be allowed inside the examination hall.

The answer sheet and question paper has to be returned to the invigilator after the examination.
Candidates who had applied for MCA and MBA courses attempted the entrance examination yesterday i.e., February 29, 2020.
