TANCET 2025 exam on March 22; registration begins from January 24

NEW DELHI: Anna University has announced the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2025 exam date. The TANCET 2025 exam date is March 22. As per the official website, TANCET 2025 registration will commence on January 24. The TANCET 2025 registration deadline is February 21.

The TANCET 2025 result date is yet to be announced. Last year, the TANCET result was declared on March 28. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to fill up the TANCET 2025 registration form by visiting the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu. Candidates will be required to pay an application fee to complete the TANCET 2025 registration fee. The TANCET 2025 registration fee for General and Other Backward Classes (OBC) is Rs 1,000. On the other hand, the TANCET 2025 registration fee for reserved candidates such as Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) is Rs 500.

TANCET 2025 eligibility criteria

  • Candidates are required to have completed their bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration.

(in any of the pattern)

10+2+3/ 4/ 5 years pattern

OR 10 + 3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern

OR B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Pharm

OR 10 + 2 + AMIE* (or) 10 + 3 years diploma + AMIE

  • There is no age limit to appear for TANCET 2025
  • Candidates are required to have scored at least 50% marks in aggregate, and those reserved category candidates need minimum 45% in the qualifying degree examination.

TANCET 2025: Exam pattern

The TANCET 2025 exam will be conducted in offline mode. The TANCET 2025 exam will be divided in 5 sections- Business Situations, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Data Sufficiency and English Usage. Each section will consist of 20 questions. There will be a total of 100 questions in TANCET 2025. The medium of TANCET 2025 paper will be English. Candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answers.
