TANCET 2025 exam today for MBA, MCA admissions

TANCET 2025: MCA test will be held from 10 am to 12 noon and MBA test from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
NEW DELHI: Anna University will conduct the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2025 today, March 22, for admission to MBA, MCA programmes offered by participating institutes for the 2025-26 academic session. As per the TANCET 2025 exam timings, MCA test will be held in the morning shift from 10 am to 12 noon while the MBA test will take place from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
TANCET exam 2025 will be conducted at 15 examination centres including Chennai, Coimbatore, Chidambaram, Dindigul, Erode, Karaikudi, Madurai, Nagercoil, Salem, Thanjavur, Tirunelveli, Tiruchirappalli, Vellore, Villupuram, and Bargur.
Examinees will be required to carry their TANCET admit card 2025 to the examination hall along with a valid photo identity card. No student will be given entry without a hall ticket.
As per the TANCET 2025 exam pattern, the duration of the exam will be two hours. MBA question paper will contain questions to evaluate a candidate's ability to identify the data and apply it to business decisions from given typical business situations, skill of the candidate in answering questions based on the passages in the comprehension, and student’s skill on solving mathematical problems at graduate level including those learnt in plus two or equivalent level. It will test candidates on determining data sufficiency for answering certain questions using the given data and the knowledge of mathematics and use of day-to-day facts, as well as their knowledge on written English with questions on errors in usage, grammar, punctuation, etc.
On the other hand, the MCA question paper will comprise questions on quantitative ability, analytical ability, logical reasoning, and computer awareness.

Both TANCET MBA and MCA papers will consist of 100 questions each. Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer while one-fourth marks will be deducted for every wrong answer, according to the TANCET 2025 marking scheme.

The dress code for TANCET exam 2025 is given below.
- Candidates should avoid wearing caps, hats, or any form of headgear.
- Candidates should wear light clothes and refrain from wearing jackets or hoodies and clothes with zips, buttons, or hoods.
- Candidates should avoid wearing any jewellery including rings, bracelets, necklaces.
