TANCET MBA 2021 to be held tomorrow; Know exam day guidelines

NEW DELHI: Anna University, Chennai is all set to conduct the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET 2021) for MBA tomorrow, March 20, 2021. The state-level management entrance test will be held in pen and paper-based mode from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Candidates should carry their TANCET MBA 2021 admit card along with the necessary ID proof to the allotted test centre for seeking entry. Under no circumstances, will candidates be allowed to sit for the test if they will fail to produce the TANCET MBA hall ticket. Also, it is equally important for the test takers to be aware of the exam day guidelines, especially about COVID-19 and strictly adhere to them.

The score of the TANCET exam is accepted by the colleges affiliated to Anna University in Tamil Nadu for admission to the postgraduate management programmes. Candidates clearing the TANCET cutoff 2021 shall be eligible to participate in TANCET counselling for PG admissions.

TANCET MBA 2021: Exam day guidelines

It is absolutely necessary to follow the TANCET exam day guidelines as leniency on part of the candidates may lead to the cancellation of their candidature. The TANCET 2021 exam day guidelines are as follows.

  • Candidates are required to maintain a social distance at the exam centre until he/she leaves.

  • It is mandatory for candidates to wear a face mask and keep their hands sanitized.

  • No students will be allowed to enter the examination hall half an hour after the commencement of the examination and will not be allowed to leave the examination hall 15 minutes before the end of the examination.

  • The use of communication devices such as calculators, log tables, cellular phones, pagers is not allowed inside the hall.

  • Carefully fill in the OMR answer sheet according to the instructions given on that sheet. No alternative answer sheet will be provided.

  • Candidates should use blue or black ballpoint pen only for writing and shading.

  • Candidates not carrying a valid TANCET 2021 hall ticket will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

  • Candidates should return the answer sheet and question book after completion of the examination.

  • According to the rules of Anna University, Chennai, malpractice inside the hall is punishable.

What to carry on TANCET 2021 exam day?

Candidates should bring the following documents and materials on TANCET 2021 exam day.

  • TANCET 2021 admit card

  • Valid photo ID proof (Driving license, Aadhaar card, voters ID, passport, PAN card)

  • Gloves

  • Face mask

  • Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)

  • Transparent water bottle

  • Blue/ Black simple ball pen
