The Kaloji Narayana Rao University Of Health Sciences has issued the final merit list for Telangana NEET PG counselling 2025 for admission to MD, MS, and PG diploma courses. Candidates with a NEET PG 2025 cut-off score ranging between 664 and 235 will be competing for the competent authority and management quota.
A total of 3,158 candidates have been declared eligible for the round 1 Telangana NEET PG counselling. As per the provisional merit list, 3,047 candidates were eligible and 285 were listed ineligible for admission due to non-submission of relevant certificates and local status.
Among them, 111 candidates have uploaded new and updated certificates and claimed their eligibility for non-service and in-service categories. Recently, the Telangana government had announced 85% reservation for local students in PG medical admissions under management quota in private medical colleges.
As per the Telangana NEET PG bond policy, candidates who discontinue after the second phase of counselling or later will have to pay a penalty of Rs 50 lakh. There are 318 PG medical and 70 PG dental seats in the state.
The detailed schedule for round 1 state counselling will be uploaded on the official website, knruhs.telangana.gov.in. In the next step, all eligible candidates will be required to fill choices of courses and colleges in the order of preference.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), which conducts the AIQ counselling for PG medical courses, has set December 7 as the deadline for state-level round 1 counselling. However, the delay in publishing the schedule may impact the timeline for admission this year, which was already affected due to legal disputes and delayed announcements.
