The special classes will continue for preparing Class 10 students for SSC public exams to be held in April 2023.

NEW DELHI: The Telangana education department has implemented half day for all classes in government, government-aided and private schools in the state starting from March 15 till the last working day of the academic session 2022-23, April 24. All primary, upper primary and high schools will function between 8 am and 12:30 pm. Mid-day meals, the government statement added, will be served at 12:30 pm.
“All the regional joint directors of school education and district educational officers in the state are hereby informed that half day schools will be commenced from March 15 onwards till the last working day of the academic year 2022-23,” an official notification read.

It further added: “The schools, that is, primary, upper primary and high schools under all managements - government, government aided and private management shall function from 8 am to 12:30 pm.”
Adding that the mid-day meals will be provided at 12:30 pm, the education department said: “The special classes will continue for preparing Class 10 students for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) public examinations for April 2023.”
According to the Telangana SSC timetable 2023, the exams for Class 10 will begin on April 3 and will get over on April 13.
