TISS has cancelled TISS PAT and TISS MAT 2021 examination and preponed the commencement of online personal interview to July 1 from July 5.

Download NowNEW DELHI: Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has released a notification about the cancellation of TISS PAT and TISS MAT 2021 examination, due to the prevailing Covid-19 situation in the country. The institute has also preponed the date of commencement of online personal interview (OPI) of TISS to July 1 from July 5. Further, the last date of TISS OPI round 2021 has been extended to July 21 from July 11.
The schedule of other events as informed by the TISS earlier remains the same. The detailed application form filling for TISS online proctored interview will begin from May 31 to July 4. Candidates will be able to check the first merit list for MA admissions on July 26. TISS counselling or documents uploading and admission fees payment will be start from July 28 to August 8.
The institute will be releasing the names of candidates in the first waiting list on August 10. Candidates can complete the admission formalities of TISS from July 26 to August 28. As of now, the institute has informed nothing about the change in the commencement of the new academic session 2020-21 for the junior students. It is scheduled to start from August 30 for TISS campuses in Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad and Guwahati.
Tata Institute of Social Sciences offers as many as 50 MA programmes in the above mentioned campuses. All interested candidates are given a preference to select at least three programmes across any two campuses. Based on the scores obtained by candidates in TISS NET 2021 examination, OPI performance and past academic records, candidates will be offered admission in the programmes and TISS campus selected by them in the application form.
