TISSBAT 2019 exam date cancelled; New date to be announced

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 22: The Tata Institute of Social Sciences Mumbai (TISS) has cancelled its BA Admission Test date till further notice. TISS BAT 2019 which was earlier to be conducted on May 11, 2019 will now be scheduled to a new date, which however, is yet to be announced. The timings for the examination is expected to remain the same, i.e., between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

The TISS BAT application form, to be carried in an online process commenced on October 30 will end on March 20, 2019. Candidates applying for TISSBAT 2019 will need to register for the admission test. The candidates will also need to pay an application fee of Rs.1025 (Rs.500 for SC/ST candidates) while submitting the TISSBAT application form. The fees for TISSBAT 2019 application can be paid in any of the modes-online or offline.

TISS BAT 2019 will be a computer based test to be conducted for 90 minutes. The paper will be divided into two parts consisting of both MCQ based and descriptive questions. The maximum marks of the paper will be 100 and there will be separate cut offs for evaluating each section.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences Bachelor Admission Test, also known as TISS BAT, is conducted by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai for admissions into its BA programmes including BA Programme in Social Sciences and BA (Hons.) in Social Work in Rural Development. Candidates will have to clear the entrance test and meet the cut offs issued by the institute to be admitted into the institute.
