Download NowNEW DELHI, DECEMBER 10: Tata Institute of Social Sciences, popularly known as TISS will close the online application procedure of TISSNET 2019 on December 10, 2018, for all Master's programmes offered by them. Candidates yet to fill the application form of TISSNET 2019 can do the same by the end of the day. However, the last date for receipt of application form through post is December 12, 2018. The TISSNET application form 2019 can be filled both in online and offline modes, depending on one’s convenience. Applicants are permitted to apply for a maximum of three courses across any of the two mentioned campuses using a single application form. Registration forms will be cancelled if the applicants fill more than one application form to apply in multiple courses.

Few tips on how to fill the application form of TISSNET

Candidates should ensure that they are eligible to apply for TISSNET. Applicants should obtain a three-year regular Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern or 15 years of formal education) across disciplines from any recognised college/university. Final year students of Bachelor’s degree will also be eligible to apply. However, the result of the final examination needs to be submitted before the final admission.

Online mode of Application/Registration – Aspiring test takers will need to visit the official website to fill and submit the application form along with the application fee.

Offline mode of Application/Registration – To get the printed copy of the application form, candidates will require to send the request via speed-post along with the stipulated application fee to-

Top reasons for rejection of TISSNET application/registration form
TISSNET application form might get rejected for the reasons mentioned below-

An incomplete application form is very much likely to get rejected by TISS.

Application form submitted without the stipulated fee amount will not be accepted.

Application form submitted after the last date will not be accepted.

Submitting invalid documents may lead to the rejection of the TISSNET application form.
TISSNET is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, January 13, 2019, from 2.00 pm to 3.40 pm, in the designated test centres. The results would be declared on February 04, 2019, at 8.00 pm.
