New Delhi, April 25: Tata Institute of Social Sciences has announced the list of selected candidates, also called merit-list, who had successfully appeared for the NET, PIT and PI on April 25. The merit list has been made available in an online mode in a PDF file format. The candidates will have to enter their Email ID and Password to check the final result and merit list.
After the TISSNET 2019, which was held on January 13, the institute released the list of candidates eligible for the second round of admission, which was PIT and PI. The Pre-Interview Test (PIT), followed by Personal Interview (PI), was held from March 1 to March 31. Only the short-listed candidates were able to receive the call letters for the second round.
The merit list of the candidates who have successfully passed the round of, both, PIT and PI has been carefully made by the university officials. In case the candidates get selected for more than one programmes after the National Entrance Test, PIT and PI then the admission will be offered to the programme higher in the order of preference.

TISSNET Waiting List 2019
The candidates who will not get the admission according to their first preference will have to wait for the waiting list which will be announced by the Institute on May 14. The TISS may issue or display the waiting list in addition to the list of the selected candidates. The candidates must keep in mind that no waiting list shall be displayed on the official website. The institute will be sending a separate intimation letter to the candidates offered a course through the waiting list.
About TISSNET
Tata Institute of Social Sciences held the National Entrance Test on January 13 for the candidates who wished to seek admission in a total of 53 Master’s Degree programmes offered by the institute. The TISSNET result had been announced on February 11 and the selected candidates were called for PIT and PI, which was the second and the last round of the admission process. The national entrance test was divided into four regions (North, South, East and West) and was held in about 39 centres across the country.
