NEW DELHI: With the release of a revised admission schedule, the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) will now conduct the admission process for MA programmes in online mode. The move has been taken by the institute in view of the lockdown situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Looking at the public health concerns and mobility challenges, the admission process has been restructured. According to the new structure, there will be no Pre-Interview Test (PIT) for 2020 admission year. Only Personal Interviews (PI) would be conducted in the second stage of selection procedure that too in online mode.
According to TISS officials, “Candidates who are yet to undergo the PI process will be required to give the personal interview remotely using online platforms. For all candidates who have already attended the PIT and PI in Mumbai campus, the respective score for PIT will be discarded and only their TISSNET and PI scores will be considered for final assessment.”
