TJEE 2025 counselling registration begins from June 4; common merit list on tbjee.nic.in

The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) will open the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) 2025 counselling registration window on June 4. Candidates who have qualified in TJEE 2025 will be required to complete the online registration process by June 8 to be eligible for the counselling round.

Candidates can complete the TJEE 2025 counselling registration through the official website at tbjee.nic.in. Candidates will have to log in using their registration ID and password to fill out the counselling form and upload the necessary documents. As per the official notice, candidates are not required to pay any fee for online registration and TJEE counselling 2025.

“From the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE), it has been informed that students who have qualified in the TJEE – 2025 examination must take part in the online counselling process. For this, candidates are required to visit the official website of the board between June 4 and June 8, 2025, and complete the online registration process by logging in using their individual Registration ID and Password. They must also upload the necessary documents. Failure to do so will disqualify them from participating in the counselling process,” the official website said.

TBJEE has also released a common merit list for the PCM and PCB groups separately. Seats under both the state and central pool quota will be allocated based on this merit list. The list has been prepared on the basis of the candidates’ performance in the TJEE 2025 and is arranged in order of merit.

According to TBJEE, the PCM merit list features the merit positions of 1,989 candidates along with their roll numbers, categories and quotas. The PCB merit list includes 4,332 candidates with the same details. The TJEE 2025 results were declared on May 27. Out of 5,296 registered candidates, 1,989 appeared for the PCM group exam while 4,332 took the PCB group exam.

TJEE Counselling 2025: Documents required

The candidate should upload the following documents at the time of registration for online TJEE counselling 2025:

  • Marksheet of Class 12: Required as proof of qualifying examination.
  • Residency proof: Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate (PRTC). Note: Citizenship certificate will not be accepted.
  • Proof of Age: Class 10 admit card or birth certificate.
  • Caste certificate (if applicable): Candidates claiming reservation under the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories will be required to upload a valid caste certificate issued by the competent authority.
  • Disability certificate (if applicable): For Persons with Disabilities (PwD), issued by an authority approved by the Tripura government.
  • Ex-Serviceman certificate (if applicable): Issued by the Directorate of Sainik Welfare.

PCB counselling to be conducted before PCM

Seats in various professional courses will be allotted to eligible candidates based on their merit position and preferences submitted during the counselling. The board will conduct online counselling separately for PCB and PCM groups, with PCB group counselling taking place first.

After the seat allotment, candidates will be required to download a selection letter, which should be presented to the concerned department to collect the nomination letter for admission.

“The allotment of seats is provisional subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria and verification of the original testimonials in the concerned institute at the time of admission,” the notice further said.
