Download NowNEW DELHI: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) has declared the TN 11th results 2024 for over 7 lakh students today. A total of 7,39,539 students have been declared pass in Tamil Nadu Class 11th result and recorded an overall pass percentage of 91.17%. The overall performance of the TN plus one students have improved by 0.24% only as compared to the previous year. Girls outshined boys this year as well. The minister said that 87.26% boys qualified the exam and 94.69% girls passed in TN DGE 11th results 2024.
As per the subject-wise 100% scorers, eight students got centum in Tamil, 13 in English, 696 in physics, 493 in chemistry, 171 in biology, 779 in mathematics and the highest of 3,432 students got a perfect score in computer science. In total, 8,418 students have obtained 100% in at least one subject.
Overall, Coimbatore has got the highest pass rate of 96.02%. Erode and Tiruppur got 95.56% and 95.23% respectively. Erode has bagged the best performing district under government school category in TN Class 11th results by securing 92.86% pass rate, followed by Ariyalur at 92.59% and Tiruppur at 92.06%.
Students can apply for re-exam from today and the provisional mark sheet will be provided from May 15. The minister also announced that the compartment exam will be held from July 2.
