NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu has announced the TN 12th result 2025 today, May 8. The board has declared the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) +2 results at 9 am. Students can check their TN HSE result 2025 on the official websites, dge.tn.gov.in or tnresults.nic.in.

To check their TN 12th results 2025, students will have to enter their registration number and date of birth in the login window. The TN Class 12th result 2025 will also be available on DigiLocker. According to the DGE, the TN Plus two result page will be accessible on DigiLocker from 9:30 am on May 8.
The TN Class 12 marksheet will include the student’s name, board name, result title, registration number, subject-wise internal, theory, and practical marks, qualifying status for each subject, overall result status (pass/fail), and total marks.
Students who have secured a minimum of 35 marks in each subject will be declared pass in the Tamil Nadu Class 12 result 2025. Students will also be allowed to apply for a scanned copy of the TN HSE answer sheet, re-totalling of marks, scrutiny, supplementary exams and migration certificate.

For the TN 12th Board exam 2025, from the science stream, 5,15,368 students appeared for the board examination, of whom 4,99,832 are declared pass, taking the pass percentage to 96.99%.
The top district pass percentage for TN 12th results 2025 were Ariyalur - 98.82%; Erode - 97.98%; Thirupur - 97.53%; Coimbatore - 97.48%; Kanyakumari - 97.01%; Sivagangai - 96.71%.
The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has started the admissions for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2025 (TNEA 2025) for BE, BTech courses. Students who have completed their Class 12 are eligible to apply for the BTech admissions in various Tamil Nadu engineering institutes. Students who did not qualify for the TN 12th exam can apply for supplementary exams. The TN 12th supplementary public exam timetable 2025 will be made available tomorrow, May 9, by DGE TN. The supplementary application will begin on May 16.

Students who appeared for the TN 12th public exam 2025, a total of 135 students secured full marks in Tamil, and 1,624 students secured 100/100 marks in commerce subject.

As per the Tamil Nadu Class 12 public exam passing marks, students will have to score 15 out of 70 marks in theory exam and a minimum aggregate of 35 marks out of total 100 to pass the higher secondary examination.
