Candidates who have completed Class 12 will be eligible to apply for BTech admissions 2025 in Tamil Nadu engineering colleges.

NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has announced the complete schedule for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2025 (TNEA 2025) for BE, BTech courses. The TNEA counselling 2025 registration begins today on the official website, tneaonline.org.
Candidates who have completed Class 12 will be eligible to apply for BTech admissions 2025 in Tamil Nadu engineering colleges. The selection of candidates will be based on the marks obtained in the Class 12 results 2025. The marks secured in mathematics, physics, and chemistry will be converted to 200.
Mathematics will get a weightage of 100 marks, while physics and chemistry will be given 50 marks weightage each. Meanwhile, the TN Class 12th results 2025 will be declared tomorrow at 9 am on the official website, dge.tn.gov.in, tnresults.nic.in.
Through the TNEA counselling 2025, seats will be allocated in government engineering colleges, self-supporting courses in aided engineering colleges, departments of Anna University, Annamalai University, and self-financing engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu.
Seats surrendered by central government institutions - Central Electro Chemical Research Institute (CECRI), Karaikudi; Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology (CIPET), Chennai; Indian Institute of Handloom Technology (IIHT), Salem will also be filled through TNEA 2025 counselling.
Candidates should check the eligibility criteria before applying for Tamil Nadu engineering admissions 2025. Only those who fulfill the eligibility will be considered for admission.
