TNEA 2019 application process starts, Last date to apply May 31

New Delhi, May 2: Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai has started the application process for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) 2019. TNEA 2019 application form is available in online mode. Students who want to take admission in UG engineering courses in Tamil Nadu can fill the TNEA 2019 application form last by May 31.
Admission in all the participating institutes will be offered through TNEA counselling conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai and no separate entrance exam is conducted. Seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of their marks of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 12. TNEA 2019 admission was previously conducted by Anna University till 2018.
Students who would fill the TNEA application form 2019 will be provided with a “Random Number” for all the further admission process. TNEA 2019 Random Number will be used for all the process and communication in regard of the admission till the final admission is completed.

Seats in all the engineering colleges in TNEA is divided into Category-I and Category-II . Category -I seats are the seats from government engineering colleges, government aided engineering colleges and engineering colleges affiliated to the Anna University. Category II seats are the seats from unaided private colleges of Tamil Nadu.
