TNEA 2019 Counselling Schedule Released; To Commence from July 3

NEW DELHI, JULY 1: Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu has released a notification regarding the counselling of TNEA 2019. As per the schedule released, the payment process for Round 1 will start from July 3, 2019. The payment and selection of choices has to be done as per the ranks allotted to the candidates. Four rounds of counselling and seat allotment will be conducted by the authorities for TNEA 2019. Previously, the counselling process for special reservation was held from June 20 to 22, 2019.

During the payment process, the candidates will have to pay Rs. 5000 (Rs. 1000 for SC/ST) in online mode. After payment, the choice filling has to be completed within the allotted time by the candidates. The choices filled should be in order of preference.
After the selection and locking of choices is done, the candidates will be provisionally allotted by the authorities as per their rank, preferences and availability of seats. The final allotment result will be published after the provisional allotment is released.
