TNEA 2019 Rank List to be Released on June 20; Check Details Here

NEW DELHI, JUNE 17: Candidates will now be able to access the rank list of TNEA 2019 on June 20. Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) officials have confirmed over telephonic exchange that there is a delay in the release of the rank list. While the rank list was supposed to be released today i.e., July 17, the authorities have decided to delay the release to give another chance to those candidates who had not produced their certificates for verification.

TNEA 2019 rank list will be released in online mode. Since no entrance examination is conducted for TNEA 2019 admissions, the qualifying examination marks will be taken into consideration while preparing the rank list. A normalization process will be adapted by the authorities since the candidates will apply from various boards and the difficulty level for the same may be different.

Previously, the random number of TNEA 2019 was published on June 3. Registrations for the admission process closed on May 31, 2019. According to the officials, 1,33,166 candidates registered for TNEA 2019 out of which 1,04,418 candidates participated in the document verification. As compared to the previous year, 78.4% of the total registered candidates appeared for the verification process as compared to 61.6% of last year. The counselling of TNEA 2019 will commence from July 3.
