TNEA 2024: Tamil Nadu engineering admission registration begins; counselling schedule

NEW DELHI: The Tamil Nadu government has started the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2024 (TNEA 2024) registration for students seeking admission in government and government-aided engineering colleges, university departments and constituent colleges of Anna University and Annamalai University. Students who are eligible will be able to apply for the TNEA Counselling 2024 through the official website, tneaonline.org.
The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE TN) declared the TN higher secondary second year examination 2024 results or TN Class 12th results today at tnresults.nic.in and recorded an overall pass percentage of 94.56%.
The selection of candidates will be based on the marks obtained in three subjects - mathematics, physics and chemistry. Marks secured in maths will be considered out of 100, and physics and chemistry will be evaluated out of 50 marks.
Students who have studied from Class 8 to 12 from schools located in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. They will not be required to produce native certificates. However, those students who studied in other states will have to produce original nativity certificates only in electronic form or digitally signed e-certificate.
TNEA counselling 2024 dates
The TNEA engineering counselling 2024 will begin today. Students can check the complete schedule here. Counselling dates will be updated in accordance with AICTE’s academic schedule for differently-abled, ex-servicemen, and sports quota seats.
