NEW DELHI, JUNE 8: Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB), Tamil Nadu is conducting TNTET 2019 exam on June 8 & 9. The exam is being conducted in offline mode for paper I and II. TNTET paper I is being held on June 8 (10 am to 1 pm) whereas paper II is scheduled to be conducted on June 9 (10 am to 1 pm).
Paper I is conducted for those who wish to become teachers for classes 1 to 5 while those who wish to become teachers from 6 to 8 have to appear for paper II. The total marks allotted to each paper are 150.
Paper 1 consists of five sections from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics and Environmental Studies whereas Paper 2 comprises four sections - Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics and Science/Social Science held separately for three hours.
Candidates appearing for the exam have to carry the admit card and photo id proof to their respective examination centre. All the details related to the exam centre, timing and shift of TN TET 2019 are mentioned on the admit card issued to the candidates.
The examination authority will release the answer key for both the papers after the exam. TNTET answer key will carry all the correct answers of questions asked in the examination. With the help of answer key candidates can calculate their scores and know the probability of qualifying the exam.
The result of TNTET is expected to be released in August 2019. The qualified candidates will be eligible for the recruitment as teachers in classes 1 to 8 across the state government schools of Tamil Nadu only.
