TNTET 2022 notification out; Apply for Tamil Nadu teacher eligibility test from March 14

Subscribe NowNEW DELHI: Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board has released the TN Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2022 exam notification, eligibility criteria and important dates on the official website, trb.tn.nic.in. As per the TNTET notification 2022, the registration process will commence from March 14 to April 13, 2022.
The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board will soon announce the TNTET 2022 exam dates. Interested candidates can submit their TNTET application form after checking the eligibility criteria for appearing in the exam.

A candidate must be a minimum of 18 years old to apply for the TNTET 2022 exam. Aspirants must note that there is no upper age limit to appear for the exam.
Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board has invited applications in online mode only. It conducts the TET exam in two papers. Paper 1 is held for aspirants who want to teach Class 1 to 5 and paper 2 is for those interested to teach Class 6 to 8.
TNTET 2022: How to apply
- Candidates should apply only through online mode in the TRB website - trb.tn.nic.in
- Use separate application for Paper-I and Paper-II.
- Candidates should ensure that they have their scanned recent colour passport size photograph (JPG/JPEG /PNG format of size 20-60 KB) and signature (JPG/JPEG/PNG format of size 10-30 KB) separately.
- The online application should be uploaded with the photograph and signature of the candidate with complete information.
- A valid e-mail id and mobile number are mandatory for registration.
- The online application can be submitted up to April 13 till 5 pm after which the link gets disabled.

The TN TET 2022 examination fee is Rs 500 for all the candidates except SC, SCA, ST and Person with Disability (PwD). For SC, SCA, ST and PwD candidates, the TNTET exam fee 2022 is Rs 250. Since the examination fee is different for various categories, candidates are advised to enter the correct community/ Person with Disability category. Once the payment is made, it will not be refunded, the recruitment board informed.
