TS EAMCET 2020: COVID positive candidates to apply for the special exam before Oct 5 midnight

NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has provided a special chance for TS EAMCET 2020 engineering candidates who could not appear earlier for the reason of being COVID-19 positive. Such candidates are required to apply to the authorities through email along with duly filled ‘Undertaking Form COVID-19 Positive Candidates’ and other documents before October 5 (midnight).

Period of candidates being tested COVID-19 positive

Candidates who were tested COVID-19 positive from August 17 to September 14 and could not write TS EAMCET engineering examination can appear for the special session being conducted by TSCHE.

Process to appear in Special Exam

Candidates who fall under the above category with respect to their COVID-19 infection period are eligible for the special TS EAMCET exam for engineering course. Such candidates need to follow the process below:

• Visit the official website at eamcet.tsche.ac.in/TSEAMCET

• Click on the link to ‘UNDERTAKING FORM for COVID-19 positive tested candidates’
  

• Download the same and duly fill all the details

• Candidates need to compose an email with address convenertseamcet2020a@jntuh.ac.in or convenertseamcet2020b@jntuh.ac.in

• The following has to be attached in the email intimating the authorities of candidate’s willingness to appear in the special exam:
  - Duly filled in undertaking form
  - COVID-19 positive report
  - COVID-19 negative report
  - TS EAMCET 2020 hall ticket

Candidates should make sure to email the authorities with relevant documents before last date, i.e. October 5 midnight. The authorities shall inform candidates the date and time of the examination accordingly along with the exam centre venue.

TS EAMCET 2020 was conducted on September 9, 10, 11 and 14 for candidates of engineering stream. The authorities are going to announce TS EAMCET result 2020 on October 6 for the exam.
